Mongolian for me

Since I was 17 years old I've been a vegetarian, This being said I haven't had a chance to taste some of the better Chinese dishes. We decided to make mongolian vegetarian chicken with vegetables on fried rice noodles , And wonton soup with vegetarian sausage filling for the wontons. Brent gets most the credit but I did fill the wonton!  The seasoning in the Mongolian chickn was fantastic the soup was kind of salty for my taste but very good! ( I also made an egg roll with the leftover veggie sausage filling)

A meal together

So new years day my partner and I actually got to spend it together without any silly interruptions like having to go to work haha. I know most people eat cabbage, pork, black eyed peas, well not us. For dinner we made from scratch mind you, coconut risotto with oven roasted eggplant and tikka masala curried quorn ( which is a protein made from mushrooms and egg, but taste like chicken) it was the best. Evening and dinner we've had in awhile. Happy New Year.

New Year

So I've been thinking a lot about the new year and all I hope to acheive. I can't help but look back at the past year and the past seven years. I still can't believe I have been back here for seven years. It seems I have pushed down the memories, the feelings, the hurt to were it almost doesn't feel real, like it happened to somebody and I just read about it or a friend told me. Anyways seven years later I'm still standing and in an actual functional relationship, if the past me could see me now.
